Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Republic of Singapore.

About H.E. SOK Khoeun

Ambassador SOK Khoeun was the Deputy Director-General of the General Department of Legal, Consular and Border Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation prior to his accreditation to Singapore.

Earlier in his career, he started work as an official of the Legal and Consular Department of the Ministry in 2004. He was appointed as Second Secretary at the Royal Embassy of Cambodia in France from 2011 to 2014. He was the Director of Border Affairs Department at the Ministry between 2017 and 2019. He also received the bronze and gold awards for Work Merit.

Ambassador SOK Khoeun graduated from the Paris 8 University in France with a Master’s Degree in International Law.

Ambassador is married to Lokchumteav Mdm MAK Veasna and they have two children.

The Ambassador presented his credentials to
President Halimah Yacob at the Istana on 21 July 2020.

His Excellency Sok Khoeun had been away from Singapore from 24th to 31st March 2024.
